Cluster for Roche 454 Sequencer

The High-Performance Computing Facility (HPCF) has a GS FLX Titanium Data Computing Cluster for running analysis jobs on the Roche 454 Genome Sequencer. The cluster consists of a front-end node and four compute nodes, for a total of five nodes. Each node has 4 Intel 2.33GHz cores. The front end node has 16GB of memory. Each compute node has 4GB of memory. All nodes share a 2.8TB home directory. The cluster runs GNU/Linux (Fedora Core release 4).
