Ashwin R. Jadhav (Health Informatics)
Dr. Ashwin Jadhav is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist and is currently pursing fellowship in the subspecialty of Maternal Fetal Medicine (Perinatology) with New York University’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He finished his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Jamaica) Program in New York. Prior to joining his clinical training, Dr. Jadhav did Master’s in Health Informatics;, which he finished from School of Health Information Sciences at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Jadhav plans to pursue research at the multidisciplinary interface of Perinatology and Biomedical Informatics. His interests include Data Mining in perinatal medicine, Simulation, Application of informatics techniques for improving quality care and patient safety. He also aims to explore and apply translational informatics techniques to investigate important clinical problems in Obstetrics including preterm labor and preeclampsia.
