Mariann Micsinai, M.A.
Ph.D. Student in Computational Biology
My current research interests range from the analysis of high throughput experimental data to the development of novel computational methods in human cancer genetics. My most recent projects include: (1) Development of methodology to detect copy number events, LOH, and allelic imbalance regions in cancer SNP arrays, (2) Characterization of relationships between expression, copy number events and methylation in melanoma and leukemia, and
(3) Development of computational tools for the analysis of next generation sequencing data.
