Proteomics Informatics
CHIBI collaborates with Tom Neubert’s proteomics lab as well as with external providers of proteomics assay support to enable research projects utilizing complex proteomics assays.
CHIBI faculty have experience and publications in:
- QC control for proteomics analysis.
- Conversion of gene expression molecular profiles to proteomic analogues.
- Development of algorithms for discovery of novel proteomic biomarkers.
- Development of algorithms and protocols for proteomic profiles for diagnosis and personalized medicine.
- Development of software for automated analysis of MS data.
Examples of provided proteomics informatics services:
- Platform-specific pre-processing,
- Differential abundance,
- Peptide-protein mapping,
- Protein identification,
- De novo protein interaction network inference,
- Protein modification and structure studies,
- Tissue microarrays,
- 2D gels,
- Protein & antibody arrays, etc.
